Today Last Year: Bernie's Corner

Spring is in the air and with that comes a new change in paradigm. I was going through old documents and shredding papers, when I suddenly thought to myself, why not take old inventory and make sparkle bags for my friends? I could ride my bike up and drop them off. Back up one second- I owned a business previously where I sold costume jewelry to stores. Ok fast forward. When I closed it, I still had inventory and gave it to charities and such. I still had inventory and thought what a great way to spend the day. So I did just that. Made little sparkle bags and rode my bike to their apartments. I received beautiful thank you messages from everyone. Including a doctor, who on one shift treating Covid patients, had 6 deaths. To make one person smile or feel better is to have lived.
