"Hot Summer", a Seven-Year-Old's Summer Poem

Updated: Jun 15, 2021

Hot Summer is a poem by one of our favorite favorite little friends on Farmbrook. She is the sister of the co-founder of the Paper, Abigail Stein, and she wrote the story all by herself. When asked how her inspiration was she said, “Because it is a nice warm day and it reminds me of summer.” And on that note I will end my little forward and let you read, “Hot Summer”.

“One day the flowers were blooming,I was sitting in the shade and reading, The ice in my lemonade was cooling, now I'm in the mood for singing and jumping and playing.”
